What we collect
Only what you choose to send us, for example your name, organisation, role, email, phone or WhatsApp number, country, and details about a business, an acquisition brief or a commodity trade. For commodity enquiries and mandates we may also collect identification and company information needed for know-your-customer (KYC), anti-money-laundering (AML) and sanctions checks.
How we collect it
The forms on this website do not store anything on a server. When you submit a form, your own email app opens with your details so you can send them to jerry@keylegaciesma.com. We also collect information when you email, message or speak to us directly.
How we use it
To reply to your enquiry, assess whether we can help, run KYC, AML and sanctions checks, facilitate introductions and transactions you have asked us to work on, and meet our legal and record-keeping obligations. We do not sell personal information.
Confidential business information
We treat information about your business, brief or trade as confidential. We share it with potential counterparties only with your approval and, where appropriate, under a non-disclosure agreement.
Who we share it with
Only where needed: approved counterparties under NDA, our professional advisers (including our accountants), service providers that help us run our business, and regulators or authorities where required by law.
Overseas disclosure
Because we work internationally, information may be shared with approved counterparties or advisers outside Australia, but only where needed for the deal or trade you have asked us to work on.
Cookies and analytics
This website does not use advertising cookies or tracking analytics. WhatsApp links open WhatsApp, which is covered by WhatsApp’s own privacy policy.
Security and retention
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information and keep it only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law.
Access, correction and complaints
You can ask to access or correct the personal information we hold about you, or raise a privacy concern, by emailing jerry@keylegaciesma.com. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
